It's designed to serve lighter beers like lagers and pilsners, and its clear glass and classic shape showcase the beer's carbonation and golden colors. The rim of the glass is heat-treated using a rapid heating and cooling process to make it more resistant to thermal shock. The glass is also heat-treated for increased strength and comes with Libbey's Safedge rim and/or foot guarantee, which means they will replace or refund the glass if the rim or foot chips.
